Euonymus japonicus Aureomarginatus

Euonymus Aureomarginatus is a dense, bushy evergreen shrub with a system of upward-pointing shoots that can grow to about 1.5-2 m in height and 1.2-1.6m in width. Its leaves are glossy and broadly rounded, with toothed edges. The center of the leaf is dark green, with a wide yellow stripe running along the leaf margins. Its small white flowers open in early summer. This species of euonymus has moderate light requirements but also grows well in sunny spots. It likes well-structured soil rich in nutrients. Its water needs are moderate, but it appreciates regular watering. As it is a very eye-catching shrub, it can be planted as a specimen plant in the garden, and it can also be grown as a decorative hedge.
